Sustainable Opportunities through Soil -- Soil Health Conference
The second annual Soil Health Conference will be held 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Ocean County College's Community Arts Center, College Drive, Toms River. The event, sponsored by the New Jersey Association of Conservation Districts, Ocean County Soil Conservation District, and the Barnegat Bay Partnership, is geared toward planners, engineers, developers, landscapers, conservationists, environmental scientists, educators, natural resource managers, municipal stormwater and public works staffs, and property managers.

Farm Leasing Informational Meeting
The State Agriculture Development Committee (SADC) and the Northeast Organic Farming Association of New Jersey (NOFA-NJ) are sponsoring regional meetings for landowners to discuss leasing experiences, resources and opportunities. The meetings are specially designed for farmland owners who are currently making, or interested in making, their land available for farming.
