1st Delaware Regiment (Newark, DE) - educates the public on Delaware & Delawareans in the American Revolution via living history programs & portraying the following: 1st Delaware Regiment, Delaware Militia, Allen McLane's partisan group (also was attached to the 1st Delaware Regiment), Detachments of the 1st Delaware Regiment (Fort Mifflin, Lewes, etc.), Civilian supporters of the 1st Delaware Regiment & the Cause of Liberty, Naval aspects of the 1st Delaware Regiment & the history of the Delaware River & Bay & vicinity during the American Revolution. Motto: Sons of the Blue Hen & Game to the End! We will have a very small encampment with tent & 3 reenactors in period clothing with military accoutrements & flintlocks. (Woodbridge) - portray the Centre Company of two British Regiments - the 42nd Royal Highlanders for the Napoleonic Period & the 1st Royal Scots for the War of 1812. 3rd New Jersey Volunteer Infantry (Flemington) - is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, established in 1989 & dedicated to reenacting & educating the public about the Civil War. The group participates in reenactments, living history events . They will be displaying items used by the common Civil War foot soldier & also recruiting to help fill their ranks.
4th NJ Volunteer Regiment (Jamesburg) - will demonstrate the life of the soldier & civilian during the Civil War. Mr. Lincoln will also be present to discuss his life. Other activities include drills with wooden rifles for children and recruiting demonstrations for Mr. Lincoln's army.
9th Division WWII Historical Preservation Society (Burlington) - is dedicated to honoring & preserving the memory of those who served during WW-II, particularly those who served in the 9th Division. The Society participates in various educational & living history events, support several WW-II veterans associations, tactical battle reenactments & air-shows. 104th Pa. Volunteer Infantry, Co. C (Warminster, PA) - is a Civil War Reenactment group that honors the men who originally fought for this regiment which was formed in 1861 in Doylestown by Colonel Davis & served a three year enlistment until it was disbanded in 1864. 280th Pigeon Signal Co. (Riverside) - Andrew Sinkleris will portray a WWII pigeoneer with pigeons & a combat mobile pigeon loft. He will demonstrate how messages were sent via pigeon in WWII.
The 1867 Sanctuary at Ewing (Ewing) – in conjunction with Preservation NJ, seeks to preserve and restore the 1867 First Presbyterian Church on Scotch Road in Ewing. Preservation NJ and the 1867 Sanctuary at Ewing will work together to raise monies for the church’s restoration. Allaire Village Inc. (Farmingdale) - Allaire Village is a living history museum that recreates the year 1836 annually. This year was the heyday of James P Allaire's Howell Iron Works. The Howell Works, as it was known in 1836, demonstrates the beginning of the industrial revolution with its bog iron smelting operation. The Mid-Atlantic Chapter will exhibit examples of political campaign items through the years. Archaeological Society of New Jersey (Cranbury) - Since 1931, the Archaeological Society of NJ has promoted archaeological research in NJ. The Society invites the public to join them in their upcoming programs & digs to learn more about our state's rich past & how archaeologists glean unique insights from what remains of past cultures. Army Ground Forces Association (Red Bank) - AGFA, a non-profit WWII U.S. Army living history organization, interprets the Coast Artillery Corps, which protected our shores from the 1890's-1940's, through intensive restoration and preservation of historic fortifications and artillery pieces. Batsto Village State Historic Site (Hammonton) - is a nationally recognized historic site, located in Wharton State Forest. The Village has changed & survived during several different periods of American history. Batsto is the site of a former iron and glass-making industrial center that now reflects the agricultural site it became in the late 19th - early 20th centuries. The site features a 32 room mansion which served as a residence for several industrial leaders including Joseph Wharton, a Phildelphia businessman. An information table will be presented.

Boxwood Hall State Historic Site (Elizabeth) - was built c1750 & became the residence of Elias Boudinot, president of the Continental Congress that ratified the Peace Treaty with Great Britain. George Washington visited Boudinot in 1789 while en route to NYC for his first inauguration. A display table will be featured along with 18th century children's games & activities.

Burlington County Historical Society (Burlington) - The Society & the Children's History Center engages families in historic play & sparks curiosity about the past thru programs, exhibits & events. Camp Olden Civil War Round Table & Museum (Burlington) - was founded in 1992 & is an organization of people brought together by a common interest in the American Civil War. The Round Table is named for Camp Olden, an 1861 training camp located in Hamilton Township, NJ. The camp bore the name of Charles Olden, then governor of NJ. The main purpose of the Round Table is to "foster and support a better understanding of the Civil War era" through Living History, preservation projects, trips, tours, lectures & events. Delaware & Raritan Canal Watch (Somerville) - supports the D&R Canal through its 5K Run at Washington Crossing State Park and through the sales of shirts, note cards & postcards. The Watch is sponsoring Rich Pawling who will portray canal boat captain Cappy Hummel at this year's Fair. The Watch will also help at the Canal Society of NJ's boat ride, as needed. Delaware Canal State Park (Upper Black Eddy, PA) - is a National Historic Landmark as well as a Pennsylvania State Park. It is the site where canal boats transported the coal that fueled our industrial revolution & transported goods important for our developing nation. This canal connected to canals in NJ, NY & Philadelphia. An information table, story time, history games, & crafts will be presented.
Delaware Valley Old Time Power & Equipment (Hamilton) - will have an interpretive display of Antique Farm & Rural Power Sources from 1900-1960 such as antique tractors, engines, trucks & cars.
Don Brocklebank & Wayne Grove (West Long Branch) - will be dressed in period clothing, explaining & demonstrating the steps required to transform a log into an everyday item. They will use a shaving horse & hand tools. Examples include: hay forks & rakes, coopered buckets, hand carved spoons & bowls, dovetail boxes, chairs & toys.
Downtown Performing Arts Center – Open Air Theater (Lambertville) – will perform Stars & Stripes – Patriotic Songs throughout the day.

Everett Howell (Changewater) - is an actor/re-enactor. Mr. Howell brings to life a personal portrayal of NJ's Colonial Governor William Franklin (son of Ben Franklin). Depending on your beliefs & alliances, William Franklin is the "Loyalist" Governor or as appointed, the "Royal" Governor. These different beliefs affected William politically & personally. He will be interacting with Jack Sherry who will portray his "father", Benjamin Franklin, & will roam throughout the Fair interacting with visitors.
Farmingdale Historical Society (Farmingdale) - collects & preserves photographs & memorabilia documenting the settlement & history of Farmingdale. We research & plaque all buildings over 100 years of age, maintain a museum, publish historical material in newspapers & invite the public to monthly programs, annual events & field trips. Fort Mott State Park (Pennsville) - was part of a three-fort defense system designed for the Delaware River during the post Civil War modernization period. The other 2 forts in the system were Fort Delaware on Pea Patch Island & Fort DuPont in Delaware City, DE. All 3 forts became obsolete as the principal defensive installation on the Delaware River with the construction of Fort Saulsbury, near Milford, DE, shortly after World War I. Hancock House State Historic Site (Hancock’s Bridge) – was home to William and Sarah Hancock. Built in 1734, the house reflects the building traditions of this Quaker’s English Homeland. In March 1778, the British attacked the house, murdering & wounding the local militia who were housed there. Jack Sherry (Nyack, NY) - will portray Founding Father, Dr. Benjamin Franklin. He will entertain with stories from his life, including conversations with his son, Royal Governor William Franklin, who will be portrayed by Everett Howell. Janice Erickson Smith (Bryn Mawr, PA) - will portray Martha Washington as the wife of the Commander-in-Chief of the American forces against King George's troops. Martha has endured 8 years of her husband being away from Mt. Vernon, yet she travels to encourage him during winter encampments. She will present her program, "When Will He Come Home?", twice during the day.
Johnson Ferry House State Historic Site (Titusville) - This early 18th-century gambrel roof farmhouse and tavern near the Delaware River was owned by Garret Johnson, who operated a 490-acre colonial plantation and a ferry service across the river in the 1700s. Lawrence Historical Society (Lawrence) - is dedicated to preserving Lawrence Township history. The society is caretaker of the 1761 Brearley House & the Port Mercer Canal House. Annual activities include the Hogmanay Bonfire, Mary Tanner lectures, presentations on local history & an annual scholarship program. Macculloch Hall Historical Museum (Morristown) - preserves the history of the Macculloch-Miller families, the Morris area community & the legacy of its founder W. Parsons Todd through its historic site, collections, exhibits & educational & cultural programs. The museum will be presenting activities about how wig wag signal flags were used during the Civil War. Merchants and Drovers Tavern Museum (Rahway) - is a Federal style historic tavern & stagecoach stop in Rahway. The Museum interprets the history of the tavern & 18th-century tavern life. Morris Dog Carts (Wilmington, DE) - will provide a display of antique dog carts & a demonstration of dogs pulling carriages. This will be a walking demonstration with interactive talks with visitors. Miniature carriages have a long history. Many carriage styles were made in miniature for use with dogs & goats. In 1608, the Dauphin of France was given a miniature carriage for his two dogs.
Mott's Artillery (Mt. Holly) - is a non-profit educational organization that, through domestic & military living history demonstrations, educates the public on the life of the men & women of the late 18th Century & the Revolutionary War period. Old Barracks Museum (Trenton) - was built in 1758 by the colony of NJ for British soldiers returning from fighting in the French & Indian War. Following the Battles of Trenton, the Continental Army steadily controlled the Barracks. In 1777, it was designated a military hospital for smallpox inoculations. Palatines to America (North Brunswick) - is a regional German-American genealogical society. The first German speaking people to come to North America as permanent immigrants settled in Pennsylvania at Germantown, now part of Philadelphia. An information table will be presented on the Palatine immigration into Hunterdon County NJ 301 years ago.
Piney Hollow Drifters (Southampton) - is a band consisting of four multi-talented musicians that make their home in the South Jersey Pine lands area. Their music is played in the old time tradition with a touch of bluegrass & good old country, as well as music of the Revolutionary and Civil War era. The band will play music for the troops & civilians who might be attending the Fair.
Phillipsburg Area Historical Society (Phillipsburg) - is a historical organization that strives to increase awareness of our area's rich history from the 1700's to modern times. We are also in the process of preserving & restoring the Roseberry Homestead, an 18th century building with connections to persons who helped form our nation & have Revolutionary War affiliations. Information about PAHS and the Roseberry Homestead will be provided. Rockingham State Historic Site (Kingston) - Rockingham, owned by the Berrien family, became Washington's final wartime headquarters for 2 ½ months in 1783, while Congress was meeting in Princeton. Here he wrote his "Farewell Orders to the Armies," drawing attention to what was owed to the returning soldiers & announcing his (and military) withdrawal from power. Swan Historical Foundation/Washington Crossing Reenactors Society (Warrington, PA) - is dedicated to education about the American Revolution, displaying artifacts of that era in the Washington Crossing State Park Visitor Center. The Washington Crossing Reenactors Society annually depicts the crossing of the Delaware River on Christmas Day & the life of the soldier in Washington's Army. The two groups will join together to show the American Revolution era & the Trenton Campaign. A toy soldier display will depict the Battle of Trenton, while reenactors will portray the life of a soldier in Washington's Army.
Thomas Edison National Historical Park (West Orange) - preserves the laboratory & home of Thomas Alva Edison. At his laboratory from 1887 until his death in 1931, Edison conducted experiments in electricity, sound recording, motion pictures & batteries. Township of Ocean Historical Museum (Oakhurst) - is a cultural resource that invites the residents of central NJ to discover our regional past. Wallace House State Historic Site (Somerville) - The Wallace House was completed in 1776 as Hope Farm for John Wallace, a successful Philadelphia merchant. General Washington leased the house for use as his headquarters during the Middlebrook Winter Encampment, December 11, 1778, to June 3, 1779. The house is one of the best and most original examples of Georgian architecture in New Jersey. Staff will roam the Fair as an 18th century fiddler in period dress.

Walt Whitman House State Historic Site (Camden) - is the restored home of the renowned author from 1884 until his death in 1892. Here, he reached the pinnacle of international acclaim as author of the pioneering free-verse book of poetry, Leaves of Grass. The Walt Whitman Association promotes the author's legacy & supports the preservation & interpretation of his Camden home. Darrel Blaine Ford will portray Walt Whitman & provide readings of Whitman's poetry. An interpretive display & sales items will also be featured.
Washington Crossing State Park, Visitor Center Museum (Titusville) - will be open during the Fair & features the Swan Historical Foundation's collection of Revolutionary War artifacts. Whitesbog Preservation Trust (Browns Mills) - is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization, established in 1982 to restore the historically significant buildings & provide interpretive programs about the history, culture & environment of Historic Whitesbog Village. Whitesbog Village is the Birthplace of the Blueberry, New Jersey's State Fruit. It was first cultivated here 100 Years ago. Elizabeth C. Wool Merchant's Daughter (Spring Lake) - will present a display entitled, "Every Revolution of the Wheel, A Spinning Wheel Showcase" The display will feature over two dozen antique & modern spinning wheels from the 1700s to present day. The collection includes wheels from America, Canada, Norway, Sweden, New Zealand, India, Ireland, Germany's Black Forest & Lithuania.
Many of the wheels are functioning & area spinners will be on hand to demonstrate the wheels & teach interested visitors.
