For health care providers and residents: Toxic Substances Portal -- The ATSDR has organized many resources into portals that contain materials on each chemical and environmental contaminant. Materials include: Toxicological Profiles – Detailed profiles on more than 300 hazardous substances found at contaminated sites. Profiles review studies on individual or related groups of compounds, describe animal and human studies and effects by exposure routes, and provide information on human populations more likely to be exposed, and populations that may have higher risks from exposures.
