Office of Public Guardian and Elder Rights

This office works to ensure the rights of seniors living in the community. The Office of the Public Guardian serves as guardian or conservator of last resort for those individuals age 60 and older who have no willing or responsible family member or friend to act in that capacity. Cases are assigned to the office by judges of the Superior Court. The office also administers the Adult Protective Services Program
