Rule Proposals
The following rule proposals are scheduled for publication in the New Jersey Register on the proposed dates listed below. This is a courtesy copy of the proposal. The official version published in the New Jersey Register can be viewed at LexisNexis. Should a discrepancy be found between the courtesy version and the official version, the latter shall govern.
Interested persons may submit comments concerning any rule proposal until the deadline indicated. Comments should be addressed to the administrative practice officer identified in the proposal.
The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) allows a minimum of 60 days for comments on its rule proposals. Extensions of comment periods will be noted in the heading of the proposal or in a subsequent notice in the New Jersey Register.
After the close of the public comment period, NJDOT may adopt the proposal with or without changes. Generally, a rule becomes effective when it is published
as a notice of adoption in the
New Jersey Register.
